I have been meaning to write this message for a long time. I went on this site 2 years ago exactly. I was completely dubious and sceptical that anything may come of it. I was bored with meeting drunken guys in pubs/night clubs and nothing ever coming of it…We met 2 years ago, and we’re engaged to be married next year… we are a great couple but if it wasn’t for internet dating I really don’t think our paths would ever have crossed.
To all those thinking of doing it and worried about how it may work out I would advise you to go for it. It felt gutsy at the time as its hard to put your heart on the line and out-rightly declare that you’re ready to meet someone special and settle down but it worked out for me and brought me such happiness and hopefully it will for you.:)

After a long search, on and off, for over 4 years , I was about to give up on this site. Then, out of the blue I met the most wonderful gentleman that I have ever known in my life! Its been 2 months of sheer happiness in his company. He is all that I could have asked for and more! Keep at it, there are real diamonds out there. We all deserve our place in the sun, and I have finally found mine.

I finally paid the activation fee …After both of us experiencing much heart ache, we were both looking for someone who could be a very good friend of the opposite sex, just to hang out with.
Many nights of supper, movies, tenpin bowling and other activities followed. The two of us became very close…We tied the knot in September 2010 and were pleasantly surprised to find out that we were 4 weeks pregnant on our honeymoon in October 2010. Our beautiful son, Tristan, was born in June 2011…

I too read all those “Success Stories” thinking that 1 or 2 were actually real & that the rest were written by staff members who were desperate to make the site look good! That’s all changed - I met my boyfriend through this site in May 2011 & for a while we were just friends, even though he was pretty-much crazy about me. I came around after 1 & a half months & I couldn’t be happier… we’re so compatible that the relationship is easy, joyful & uncomplicated.
Thank you for turning my scepticism into belief in love again!
